Real perspective comes when you aren’t any longer seeing today in terms of a redundant past, a past you’ve outgrown.
We might live years in a situation born of a shrug. Maybe one day we remember that we’re giving our life for it, and demand something better.
I don’t know if you can compel this moment to come to you.
Maybe it must come up from behind you and surprise you when you are ready, like a shadow.
